Our Ministry

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16

God used visions to reveal His plan, and to put His people in places of influence. This is the time of revival; Kingdom expansion and release of God’s love. GFIM is the work of Prophet Tijo Thomas and Princy Tijo in response to the call of God, a vision delivered to begin a ministry in South India, equipping and preparing God’s people and leaders, both in India and overseas.

With a humble beginning with less than 10 members GFIM has grown and is blessed with spiritual and numerical growth in recent period. We pursue to follow the example of Jesus in being a loving and caring institution, highlighting the preaching and teaching of word of God and the good news of Jesus Christ.

Prophet Tijo Thomas, his wife Princy Tijo, many recognised national and international preachers and bible teachers speak at the meetings. Numerous guests and community worship leaders lead the worship periods on a regular basis.

At the Peak, we want to be acknowledged by what we are and we believe that God is the Author of nation and the unique principal of creativity and do believe that the real “ministry” happens outside the church, not inside the church alone. GFIM wishes to take the kingdom of God into the arts, businesses, education—and all other aspects of the society.

GFIM has leaders who dare to be themselves, committed to an innovative system that loves God, loves people and loves life, youthful in spirit; generous at heart; faith-filled in confession; loving in nature and inclusive in expression.

We pray that God's purposes will be achieved, and that His leadership will be shadowed.

Spreading the word of God

But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Bible is the Word of God. It is exact, influential and appropriate to our daily lives. God is a communicator and has been communicating to the human race ever since the creation. He communicates through His creation, through prophets, through the Holy Spirit, through Scripture, and through His Son, Jesus Christ. For us, this is a strong proof that the gospel is from God. Wherever it goes, it changes lives as people are reconciled to God through acceptance in Jesus Christ. Scripture is inerrant in its teachings. As God is truth and without error, so is His word and what is taught in it. Scripture is also infallible; fully truthful in all spiritual teachings and prophecies, and is fully accurate on historical and scientific data when that is the purpose of what is given.

Praise be to God! - For He wants to pour His love into us through the gospel. We at GFIM believe that it is our job to continue to pray and be ready to share the gospel when the opportunity grants itself both close by and internationally. He has showered and equipped us with the power and potential of carrying out His command as Mark 16:15 says - “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature”.

"Blessed are those who hear the Word of God and obey”(Luke 11:28) When you hear the word of God and obey Him, you will discover a life that is full and rich with determination.

What we believe

We believe - There is one God, existing eternally in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe - The Bible is the true Word of God, which is His authoritative word and revelation.

We believe - Man is created in the appearance of God but parted from God by sin. Without Jesus we cannot have an association with God.

We believe - Jesus was buried and after three days He had risen. Sin and death could not defeat Him.

We believe- That everyone who has become a Christian should remember Him by commonly partaking in the Holy Communion.

We believe - The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is a blessing from God. He helps empowering the believer to develop the personality of Christ and live every day in God's will.

We believe - God gives all believers spiritual gifts. They are for the firming of God's folks (the Church) and proof of God's being.

We believe – There is heavenly healing. We pray for the sick since we believe God works wonders in our days.

We believe - Jesus will return and take all the folks who have believed in Him as Redeemer to be with Him for all time.

Biography Of Prophet Tijo Thomas

Prophet Tijo Thomas is the Founder and Senior Pastor of The GFIM. He is a Kerala -born leader with an apostolic gift for the twenty-first century. After accepting the call of Jesus Christ in 2013 for the formation of a church in South of India Prophet Tijo has already proven to be one of the country’s most dynamic communicator. His congregation grew by thousands with active community outreach.

Prophet Tijo’s emphasis on the need for spiritual growth and development through the teaching of God's word has resulted in dramatically increased attendance at Bible Study and Church congregation. So much so, that a separate session has been established for youth and another for children & Women.

Prophet Tijo is recognized as a remarkably gifted teacher of the Word of God, with an extraordinary act in the gifts of the Spirit. Prophet Tijo has received various invitations to several countries in Europe, Middle East to deliver the miraculous Word of God. Prophet Tijo is married to Mrs. Princy Tijo, and they are both gifted with a son Nathen.

Prophet Tijo is committed to winning souls for Christ and uses preaching to provide God's divine Word to address matters important to salvation and human existence. His focus is always for the glory of God! He regularly conducts workshops, seminars, and revivals throughout the nation, and trains church leaders to face boldly the new challenges of a changing world and the ways of a changeless Christ.

Princy Tijo

Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. 24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.

Princy Tijo’s life was a journey through the weeping, judgments, fights, achievements, delights and sharing the ministry dream. While during her studies she accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Saviour and was blessed with the spiritual gift of prophecy. Prophecy is a way that you can hear from the Lord himself about his love and concern for you and about his will for your life. Princy leads and helps Tijo lead women’s ministry in the local church, teach bible studies, and speaks at conferences and women’s programme across India. Her desire is to encourage women of all ages to grow in the Lords word and to live out their God given purpose. Princy takes every opportunity to be with their family and friends.

Princy Tijo has committed her life with Tijo to minister with excellence and passion. She is guided by the scripture:

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”

Princy & Tijo has been blessed with a son Nathan and a daughter Nayama.

Becoming a Christian

11 And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. 13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life,[a] and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

Christian formation is a journey. This process involves the transformation of a person in whole resulting in a life of service to others and witness for Christ. He is not only our Saviour; he is also our example, showing us what humans should be like. When we believe in Christ, we have a new identity and a new purpose for living. "Be transformed by the renewing of your mind" (Rom. 12:2). We are "being renewed in knowledge in the image of [our] Creator" (Col. 3:10).

Prayer was a constant part of Jesus life, Jesus needed it and we need it the more. But sometimes it may be difficult. We don’t always know what to say, ask or how to praise. But we need to—regularly. Through Bible studies, ministry and guidance training, individual and group classes, and one-on-one spiritual guidance, we are committed to encourage, equip and walk with you on the path toward wholeness in Christ.

Jesus Christ wants a relationship with us. He loves us and cares us more than possibly what we can imagine. God wants us to accept his love, and the path of reconciliation that Jesus created. Believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins, and was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hear your prayer. Invite Jesus to become the Lord of our life, to rule and reign in your heart from this day onwards.

In John 14:6 Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me." (NLT)

Remember, living the Christian life through your actions will show others that God must be working in your life. Psalm 96:3 “declare his glory among the nations, his marvellous works among all the peoples!”

Allow Jesus to make a change in you since we cannot change ourselves only God can, through his Son. Ezekiel 36:26-27 - "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.”

Meet Our Leaders

For the past years, GFIM has been blessed with eminent leaders and pastors. They are a vital part of the ministry today, and gifted communicators. Each of our leaders has a passionate desire to help & lead people into a prosperous relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our Leaders are deep rooted in the gospel of Jesus Christ. They provide encouragement, prayers, counsel and assistance to the team members and believers in the community.

Pastor Niju Mathew

Graduated from The Manakkala Faith Theological Seminary, he is into full gospel with his family. He knew even before graduating that God was calling him to ministry leadership. Pastor Niju and his family are eager to help & lead people into a thriving relationship with Jesus Christ. His vision also includes taking the Gospel globally by supporting members of our church, as well as going himself.

Pastor Girish Babu

He has strong gifts in preaching and pastoral care and has extensive leadership experience in the GFIM. But years before, he was a “raging alcoholic” but he surrendered his life to God, and The Lord touched him deep in his heart. He is now in service for the Lord with his family.

Pastor Justin George

Leads the youth ministry and participates in community outreaches. He has seen God changing lives across cultural boundaries. He also helps to lead worship singing from time to time. He travels throughout India speaking at youth events.

Pastor Sreejith

His passion for discipleship coupled with strong administrative gifts have led to his current role as Campus Pastor. Sreejith is well known for his insights, inspiration and humor, both in the classrooms, prayer cells and as he travels across the country speaking to teenagers, youth leaders and parents of teens.

Anil John

Our worship leaders and have been part of the church from its beginning and believes that worshiping the Lord in “spirit and truth” is at the foundation of Christian teachings. Their songs help you to worship the Lord almighty, brightens your day, and make you think about something you haven’t ever thought about before.
